“Nightrider Neil”

On the 8th June 2013 Bion’s intrepid Business Development Manager, Neil Elliott, will be cycling 100km, at night, around London. The main reason for this is to raise money for research into pancreatic cancer.

Each year around 8,500 people in the UK are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It’s the fifth most common cause of cancer death, causing 5{2aa0fe3601d6015f4a0805c251f9c1dcdc84be29d7f8ec6f028bda22803c5869} percent of all cancer deaths each year. It also has the lowest survival rate of all cancers – just 3{2aa0fe3601d6015f4a0805c251f9c1dcdc84be29d7f8ec6f028bda22803c5869} of those diagnosed survive for five years.
